Stringent quality controls are in place at every step.

  • At the refinery, where crude oil is refined into gasoline, diesel and other petroleum products, Imperial conducts tests to verify that the fuel meets or exceeds engine builder, industry, and government specifications
  • At the terminal, our additives are precisely injected into our different grades of Zimbabwe gasoline
  • At service stations, retailers are instructed to check the fuel to ensure that it hasn’t become contaminated with water
  • Finally, fuel dispensers at service stations have built-in filters to provide a final cleaning just before the fuel enters your vehicle’s tank
  • Our Company coordinates systematic sampling of fuel at  service stations across Zimbabwe and conducts thorough testing to help ensure that all grades of fuel gasoline meet the key quality and performance properties that matter to you and your vehicle

After our fuels have been delivered to  service stations, we regularly survey them to confirm that they contain the proper type and amount of our proprietary detergent additives and that they meet applicable federal, provincial and locally specified standards
